Representative Mike Foley Receives Recognition from Ohio Housing Authorities Conference

Representative Mike Foley was presented with the “Friend of Housing” recognition from the Ohio Housing Authorities Conference ( OHAC ), April 23, 2009 in Aurora , Ohio . Representative Foley was on-hand to offer his remarks as Chairman of the newly created House Committee on Housing and Urban Revitalization during the 2009 OHAC Spring Conference. During his remarks, Representative Foley encouraged an open dialogue between the housing authorities and his office and stated he looked forward to addressing the issues that surround the Ohio housing industry.

After his remarks OHAC President, Donald W. Emerson of Trumbull MHA, surprised Representative Foley with his recognition plaque and also thanked Representative Foley for his tireless work as a housing advocate, as well as, Speaker of the House Armond Budish and the House Leadership team for creating the Housing and Urban Revitalization Committee.
